It is in every golfer’s interest to keep golf fit. Not only to play well but also to prevent injury and prolong golfing life. But how do you know what to do to keep in shape?
The T.P.I. Physical Screen is the answer.
The screen will highlight the areas that need to be worked on, saving time and ensuring that your exercise is of benefit to you and your golf.
C.H.E.K. Institute, world leaders in exercise education
When I was a young hopeful trying to make it as a player I spent many hours in the gym. Looking back and knowing what I know now, I realize that my gym work did me and my game more harm than good. My game deteriorated and I literally developed a pain in the neck.
In a way, exercise is like medicine; the right medicine will make you better and the wrong medicine could make you worse. When training for a complex sport like golf the aim isn’t just to get bigger muscles. Improving the structure and function of the body is key and to do this you really have to know what you are doing. I am in a great position to advise and help achieve this as I am not only a golf coach but an exercise professional as well.
